Same Song, Different Verse

Subtle, because I love subtlety... it fits the first stages of their relationship perfectly. Robin and Raven bump into each other in the hall and drop their iPods... and when they pick them back up, lo and behold, they're listening to the same song. What song might that be...?

Drawn for a contest over at #robin-x-raven! The theme was Nickelback's song "Gotta Be Somebody"... relating to either part or all of the song. I chose part: just the chorus's two sections.

What fits them so well about this is that even though they both feel this way sometimes (they're both listening to the song), they would have never thought to relate it to each other before. In my little world, this is the point where they look at each other, a bit surprised, and think, "Does he/she really want someone like that sometimes? I thought I was the only one..."

And it all goes downhill from there. This is but one of the many ways their close friendship can start to take a turn for the romantic in my mind. xD

Artistically speaking, holy crap, another background! Nothing much, but it's there, so there. xD I think I'm getting better at proportions, though Raven's head seems weird to me for some reason... I dunno. Could just be because I've been staring at this picture for a few hours straight. xD
